Philippe Bertherat

Philippe Bertherat is a former managing partner of the Pictet Group, a long-time collector of contemporary art and photography, and an active philanthropist. He is Chairman of the board of the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (Mamco), Geneva, and a Member of the Sotheby’s Council. He holds a Law degree from the University of Geneva.

The jury for the Prix Pictet are a group of leading experts in the visual arts from around the world including directors of major museums and galleries as well as journalists and critics. They lead the global search for images of high artistic quality and narrative power and fit the theme of a particular cycle.
